Lauri @ Haavisto Tukikonsertti

Lauri performed on Monday at the Pekka Haavisto Kokoaan suurempi Suomi 2012 Concert, together with violonist Pekka Kuusisto and Apocalyptica’s Eicca Toppinen, song Heavy. Also a few articles have appeared, interviews with Lauri in Metrolive in which he clears up the situation that they are not part of the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu contest, they will be just simply performing their new upcoming single from the new The Rasmus album, but they have Iconcrash from their label in the contest. In another interview he tells about being nice to be sober and finally see Ultra Bra this way when they do such a big come back; and that The Rasmus songs have never really had anything to do with politics, but in his solo career he used themes like freedom of expression. In an interview given to Seiska, Lauri tells that The Rasmus album is on last metres, almost ready. Eicca has arrived to the performance straight from the airport, they haven’t been rehearsing for the performance at all. He is friend with Pekka for about 15 years, he got to know him still while they were performing in Oranssi too.

Recording of the performance with Pekka Kuusisto and Eicca Toppinen can be found below:
