Radio Aallon Helsinki-päivän konsertti
Radio Aalto confirmed the artists that are going to play at the 2012 edition of the Helsinki Days Concerts. One of the artists is The Rasmus. The gigs will take place on 12.06 in Kaisaniemi Park, Helsinki; entrance to the even is free. The exact time of when The Rasmus will be playing is not yet known, neither is the order of the bands in which they are going to play.

-the new album has a do-it-yourself feeling, now that they have done it without any pressure;
-they haven’t been listening too much to the new songs yet and feels like a completely new stuff;
-Aki experienced during their break that some have asked him if the band have broke up or what happened with them.
-Lauri remembers when everytime they are in Latin-America it’s like a whole other feeling, having to walk around with security when already at the airport people are waiting, like leaving in peace from Helsinki-Vantaa and in there is crazy already after landing. Aki adds that they often just eat separately too because of this.
-album is more pop-rock, has nothing to do with his solo stuff and has no influences from it.
-Lauri tells when asked if they will ever will be in Eurovision, that probably not since he doesn’t like to compete in music.
-I’m a mess was born in the last moment before leaving for recordings, and as theme has nobody’s perfect.
Radio Aallon Helsinki-päivän konsertti
Lauri will be giving a gig on the 12th June for Radio Aalto. The event is called Radio Aallon Helsingin Päivän konsertti and will take place in Helsinki’s Suvilahti.
Nelonen will broadcast the gigs of the bands afterwards on 14.-17.6. from 18-18.45 o’clock. A summary of the gigs/event will be on 19.6. from 16.45.
Lauri @ Radio Nostalgia

-Lauri tells that on New World his voice has been modified a lot of times to fit the style; the guy (interviewer) reveals that he has been playing with The Rasmus back in 1994 as background musician when the guys had their very first gigs; he likes very much Milano because there are a lot of friends of him and pizzerias and lot of interesting thing; also his father has been encouraging him to play in a band and he has got his first guitar from him, his father has been a big Beatles fan; there are some gigs when also their parents are with them like for example one of their gigs in Austria; he sometimes goes to work out and used to skate but since he fall he gave it up; he would like to go touring outside Finland too during the autumn in small clubs.

-when he traveled to Pauli the main idea was to make The Rasmus album, but it turned up to be the solo album that fits like perfectly an album for driving during the night; Disco-nnect is Lauri’s favorite song from the album; he made the electro album because he ran out of ideas with the guitar and was curious of what does that button does and tried; he says he won’t be sleeping during the night because of the nerves that his solo debut album comes out; they don’t yet know what about live songs but they will start thinking next week and book some, and there are also some festivals that are booked already since last year.
